Private label fashion e-tailer Zovi has introduced a special programme called Zovi Elite, which will enable regular buyers on its platform to get additional discounts on products, more time for returns as well as access to free delivery. Customers enrolling for the programme will get 5 per cent additional discount (over and above all other offers) on products, 15 days extra time for returns, free delivery with no minimum purchase restriction and exclusive previews to hot deals. Their orders will also be treated under the priority delivery category.
To be eligible for Zovi Elite, customers will need to place at least three orders on the platform, post which they can activate their Zovi Elite account by logging in to their account and clicking on the 'join' button.
Run by Bangalore-based Robemall Apparels Pvt Ltd, Zovi was founded in 2010 by Satish Mani, former senior vice-president (technology) at Cleartrip, along with Kavindra Mishra and Sartaj Mehta. Started as an online menswear private label brand, the company added women's wear and accessories later on. Last year, it also added home furnishings to its set of offerings.
In February this year, Zovi announced that its existing investors Tiger Global and SAIF Partners invested about $10 million afresh in the company. Zovi had earlier (May 2012) received $10 million from the same investors. In July 2011, it had raised $5.5 million in a Series A round led by SAIF Partners. MakeMyTrip founder Deep Kalra was also a part of the investors' line-up in the first round, and had joined the board of the company at the time.
