Meet the seven startups picked for TLabs' 7th accelerator batch

startupsTimes Internet Ltd's (TIL) startup incubator TLabs has disclosed the names of the seven startups picked for its seventh batch that commenced last month. The startups are spread across domains like publishing, cloud and edu-tech, marketing & analytics, etc. With the current batch, TLabs has taken its portfolio count to 43 startups.

TLabs said that it now invests $50,000 (Rs 30 lakh) for an equity stake of 8 per cent. Till last year it typically invested around Rs 10 lakh for 10 per cent stake in an incubatee company.

Hangoutt: It helps developers increase app monetisation and boost user engagement, by rewarding the users, in-app, with real world branded rewards. Currently it covers more than 400 brands across more than 10 countries.

Meet Univ: It is a university research portal with 2000+ international universities & 45000+ courses listed on its network through which students get personalised guidance and can engage with universities directly through the website.

Pratilipi: It is a platform that connects Indian language writers and readers.

MintM: It is an advertising platform which brings context, tracking and analytics capabilities similar to online advertising into real world. Its customers and partners include Hypercity, Tesco, Jubilant Retail, Harpic, Lizol, Loreal and Himalaya.

Customer Labs: It is a predictive customer analytics platform that helps businesses understand their customers better and enables them to pro-actively target, engage and personalize the customer life cycle. Currently, it has clients from four countries.

Home Triangle: It is a marketplace for home related services.

Epaathsala: It is a cloud-based quality improvement and reporting solution for higher education institutions. Currently more than 40 institutions across India are using Epaathsala for compliance management on the cloud.
