KSRM College of Engineering has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with GND Solutions, a Bengaluru-based IoT (Internet of Things) company for setting up the latter’s second unit in the college campus in Kadapa, reports The Hindu.
The company deals in hardware, software development and IoT related applications and is a consultant for large companies across India and overseas, providing enhanced engineering services.
By establishing our second unit here, we accord maximum benefits to the student community, by training them up on latest technologies and providing internships,” The Hindu quoted Venkata Siva Reddy, founder and CEO of GND Solutions as saying.
According to the report, K. Chandra Obul Reddy, Managing Director of Kandula group of institutions, of which KSRM College of Engineering is a part, claimed that it is the first engineering college in the state to establish an industry facility in its campus. He also said that the facility would benefit the students. He further assured all support from the institute to the company.
The report said that Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University -Anantapur, Vice-Chancellor G Ranga Janardhana advised the students to close the gap the previous and the present generation to make a combined efforts for a better future.
