Value Added Services Firm Techzone To Invest Rs 30Cr In Mobile Gaming, Content & Music

Universal Power Systems Private Limited aka Techzone, a Chennai-based mobile value added service provider has announced intent to invest Rs 30 crore in new services.

According to Business Standard, the company intends to foray into mobile gaming for mobiles and may partner with two unnamed global gaming service providers companies. It will also invest in a digital platform for WAP gaming as well as content production and music platforms.

The company runs the shortcode 56060 and offers CRBT (Ring back tones), SMS, IVR and WAP services. It has partnered with music labels and broadcasters such as Sony Music, Saregama, Universal Music, NDTV, MTV, Nick, VH1 and Colors.

Techzone is headquartered in Chennai and has offices in New Delhi and Mumbai.
