Huawei Partners With Ibibo To Offer Gaming Apps

Chinese telecom equipment maker Huawei has joined hands with Ibibo, a social gaming network company to offer gaming applications to their mobile users.

Under this partnership, Huawei mobile users can download Ibibo games, such as Teenpatti, Ibibo Farms and The Great Indian Parking Wars, besides making free calls and sending SMS. This service is available only for three models of Huawei Ideos smartphones including Chat, X2 and X5.

Huawei IDEOS Chat has a display of 2.6 inches with TFT touchscreen. This model comes with camera of 3.2 mega pixels LED Flash, digital zoom. IDEOS X2 is a 3.2 inch touchscreen phone along with the 256 k colors and works on Android 2.2 Froyo. IDEOS X5 also works on Android 2.2 Froy. It features a 3.8" WVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, HSPA connectivity, GPS, and Wi-Fi. Huawei has plans to launch a smartphone called Huawei Vision in India by the end of 2011. The phone will have a 3D interface and will support Cloud computing. The company also launched commercial number portability solutions.

The partnership extends to selling Huawei phones on Ibibo's e-commerce portal. is part of Ibibo group and offers books, mobiles, cameras, watches, apparel, home appliances etc.
