2 Mar, 2012

Cbazaar, an e-commerce portal dealing with Indian ethnic wear has developed an app on Windows 8.

The app comes for free and can be found in the 'shopping' category of the app store. To download it, the user needs to download Windows 8 Beta OS from Microsoft website which is free and once they download the OS, in the app store one can find Cbazaar app in the shopping category.

The company claims, the app witnessed about 600 downloads within 24 hours it went live.

Rajesh Nahar, CEO and co-founder, Cbazaar said, "It was quite a challenging task to keep in pace with the technology that allows us to venture into a whole new realm of handling apps. Furthermore, accomplishing this advancement at a break-neck speed marks a niche, and bridges the gap between the end user's demands and our capability to serve, technology-wise."

A self funded company, Cbazaar, which is present since 2005 sells Indian ethnic outfits. It says it introduces 150 – 200 designs every day, reaching out to more than hundred thousand customers in 54 countries in all continents.
