Tradus has launched a new feature where an online consumer can interact directly with the seller via a chat option. Consumers can inquire about specific details and clear doubts about a product they look forward to purchasing on Tradus.in.
Additionally, consumers will also be rewarded with loyalty points each time they shop from the online firm. The points called 'xTrabucks', will come with perpetual validity time span. Once one earns a few xTrabucks, he/she can either redeem them against the next purchase or donate them to support a cause.
Seller ratings is another feature Tradus plans to roll out in the near future.
Talking about the development, Motukuri, said, "The ability to chat directly with sellers on a marketplace not only removes any hesitation in the buyers' minds, it also makes shopping much more fun and social. Just the way it should be."
Motukuri had joined as the new managing director of e-commerce businesses of ibibo last October after Rahul Sethi, the president of ibibo's e-commerce division quit to launch his own start-up (more on that here). Motukuri is responsible for two websites â€“ online shopping portal Tradus.in and the hyper-local classifieds site TradusAds.in.
In the new look, Tradus has brought in a new logo that uses the colour white for 'Tradus' and '.in' in orange in shape of a price tag. "The new logo's transparent typeface and dynamic background were chosen to communicate our commitment to improve transparency and innovate continuously," according to the company.
Last December, Tradus.in had introduced a daily deals section.
