Mumbai-based digital marketing company Resultrix Media, now a part of the Publicis Groupe, a French MNC specialising in advertising and communications, has appointed Tanmay Mohanty as its chief operating officer for Indian operations.

Prior to joining Resultrix, Mohanty was the COO at Interactive Media and Communication Solutions (id8 Labs). He had also worked with Merchant Media, Dalal Street and Urja Communications. Mohanty will be directly reporting to Gulrez Alam, COO (Global) of Resultrix.

Earlier this month, the Publicis Groupe acquired Resultrix Media for an undisclosed amount. As part of the acquisition, Resultrix now operates as a unit within one of its marketing agencies – Performics – and is known as 'Resultrix, a Performics company.'

Mohanty has around 14 years of experience in the field of marketing, advertising, brand management, direct sales, strategic account management, business development and administration. "Resultrix has an excellent track record as a leading player in the search and interactive services industry. I look forward to working with the team and being a part of the company's future," he said.

Commenting on the new hire, Alam said, "We are looking at strengthening our leadership team at Resultrix. Our clients will benefit from Tanmay's professional expertise, spanning multiple industries."

Resultrix was set up in 2008 by Vidur Luthra (CEO) and Alam, and the company has offices in India (Delhi and Mumbai), the US (Seattle), Singapore and the UAE (Dubai). It provides a full suite of services with the focus on search engine optimisation and search engine marketing, online media promotion, web designing, analytics, media buying, social media strategy and mobile marketing.

The company has more than 100 people on board and has managed over 120 brands. Its key clients include both global and local brands, such as Corbis Corporation, Max Bupa, Standard Chartered Bank, Airtel, Cleartrip, DBS Bank and Emirates National Bank, among others.
