In a bid to cater to consumers looking for healthy means of living, Indiatimes Shopping has launched Satvikshop.com, a one-stop e-store for ayurvedic and organic solutions and products.

Powered and funded by Times Internet (TIL), Satvikshop is a platform for offline brands to sell their products online while TIL is providing the technology, logistics and marketing facility. Gautam Sinha, COO of Times Internet, said, "We are providing everything, required to build an e-commerce store." In return, TIL is getting a percentage commission from its partners and manufacturers.

The site currently deals in 20 brands, such as Organic India, Dabur, Besure, Divine, Morrarka Organic Foods and more. Speaking to Techcircle.in, Indiatimes Shopping COO Subhanker Sarker said, "As of now, Satvikshop houses 600 SKUs. But in the next couple of days, we will have an excess of 1,000 SKUs."

"While looking for partners, TIL will focus on the credibility of the brands and will join hands with those sharing a similar philosophy," he added.

Satvikshop claims to have 100 transactions a day within three days of its launch, with an average ticket size of Rs 1,200. The e-shop, which offers free shipping for all orders, also features an active blog with regular updates related to organic and ayurvedic lifestyle.
