CCAvenue revives economy plan for small ventures, waives set-up fee

Online payment gateway CCAvenue has revived its economy plan and removed the set-up cost in a bid to cater to small ventures. Earlier, the plan included a set-up fee of Rs 7,500, but now it has been waived. It was the most popular plan of the company, according to Mohan Nair, chief marketing officer of Avenues India.
The new pricing model has also done away with the software upgradation fee for the first year, which is Rs 1,200. This feature is aimed to help smaller ventures who don't have the capacity to invest a lot. "The feedback we received from startups is that they might have a good product but the investment is very difficult in the initial stage. With this revised pricing, we want to lessen the burden on new companies," said Nair.

Among other pricing models, the premium package charges Rs 25,000 as set-up fee while the privilege package charges Rs 40,000 for the same.
