Tyroo appoints Ratnakar Bharti and Sandeep Sabharwal in key positions

SVG Media's digital ad network Tyroo Media Pvt Ltd has hired Ratnakar Bharti as general manager and India sales head as well as Sandeep Sabharwal as global head, delivery and publisher relationships.

"We have ventured into international markets and expanded our product portfolio. We are aiming at 100% growth in FY 2013-14; with such promising growth plans, we felt the need to strengthen our leadership team," said Siddharth Puri, CEO, Tyroo Media.

Bharti has over 15 years of experience in the sector. Prior to joining Tyroo, he was working as national sales head with Ideacts Innovations Pvt. Ltd. He also worked with Rediff.com, Intercept Technologies, Business Standard and Indiabulls.com.

"We are witnessing increased interest from sectors, which so far have been agnostic to performance marketing. I am excited to partner with Tyroo to explore and leverage verticals that are yet to realise the benefits of performance marketing and elevate performance marketing across platforms such as mobile, video, etc," said Bharti.

Sabharwal joined Tyroo from Maxus - GroupM where he was heading the digital team for the northern region. He also worked with Quasar Media, Cybermedia, NU-TECH and Flexe Refrigeration in various roles.

"I am delighted to be a part of Tyroo and to be able to contribute to its growth. In this role, I would be focussing on expanding its network of publisher partners in India and building focus markets across SEA and MENA," Sabharwal said.

Tyroo claims to be the largest multi-screen performance network in the Asia-Pacific region and says it works with over 5,000 publishers in categories such as e-commerce, travel and automobiles. In a press statement, Tyroo said that of the total conversions being driven by Tyroo for the leading e-retailers in India, close to 6 per cent of traffic comes from mobile devices. In addition to this, Tyroo delivers close to 300,000 clicks and 15,000 installs on Android per day.

Tyroo operates in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar. Its range of solutions includes cost per lead, cost per acquisition, cost per download, retargeting, pay per call and mobile performance marketing.
