Talking to Techcircle.in, Ankita Tandon, co-founder and director, Deliverychef, shared that the capital will be used for scaling up the technology and expanding the team.
Tandon started the online food ordering site in 2010 along with Aditi Talreja. It started with operations in Mumbai and Pune and now also has presence in Delhi-NCR, Thane and Bangalore.

"In a year, we plan to consolidate our market leading position in Mumbai and expand aggressively in the region. We will also start to enhance our footprint in NCR, Bangalore and other cities," Tandon added.
Deliverychef also offers catering services to corporates targeted at employees who stay late in office.
