Most startups spend a substantial amount of their budgets on acquiring users, but many find it challenging to implement a sharply focused marketing strategy to convert site visitors into paying customers. Wigzo, a Delhi-based startup itself, helps other startups do just that.

Wigzo is an enterprise marketing automation suite that helps startups personalise their marketing strategy. In other words, it enables startups to make personalised communication through multiple channels including email as well as Facebook and Google Ads from a single dashboard.

Wigzo was founded in 2013 by Umair Mohammed, Himanshu Kaushik, Shamail Tayyab and Vikrant Khushu. It works with 20 startups including dating app TrulyMadly, women's fashion e-commerce site Kaaryah and crowdfunding platform Ketto.

"We intend to reach out to 600 companies with our product. We are looking to close next year with revenues in upwards of $2 million," Mohammed said in an interview with

In December 2015, it had raised $500,000 (Rs 3 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Aarin Capital Partners, a VC fund co-founded by former Infosys director TV Mohandas Pai.

In the video, Mohammed talks about Wigzo's growth plans and the next wave of personalized marketing.
