Ecommerce solutions firm Ziffity raises funding from Aspire Systems

Ziffity Solutions LLC, a Chennai-based digital marketing agency focused on e-commerce, has secured an undisclosed amount of investment from Aspire Systems, a technology services firm, it said in a statement.

Ziffity will use the funds for hiring talent, training and development, upgrading its UX lab and building products tailored for the e-commerce space, co-founders Vinod Kankaria and Sajish M Balan said.

"With Ziffity coming on board, we will be able to help our clients from a creative design, content, e-commerce and digital marketing perspective—something that is critical for any online retailer as it helps enhance user experience, consumer engagement, sales and brand activation," said Gowri Shankar Subramanian, chief executive officer of Aspire Systems.

Chennai-based Aspire's previous transaction was in July 2014 when it acquired the services division of SRA Systems for an undisclosed amount. In December 2013, it acquired Hyderabad-based technology firm Versant Technologies Pvt. Ltd for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 2014 by Kankaria and Balan, Ziffity helps B2B and B2C e-commerce businesses generate online revenues. The firm's e-commerce services include strategy consulting, creative design, content production, platform implementation, digital marketing, predictive analytics and innovative solution accelerators.

Aspire Systems was founded in 1996 by Gowri Shankar Subramanian and has over 1,500 employees across its offices in Singapore, the US, the UK, Belgium, India and UAE. The company claims that it has been growing at the rate of 34% per annum over the last seven years and has over 100 customers. Subramanian is also serves as chief advisor to Ziffity.
