Amazon leases over one mn sq ft of office space in 2016

There is no doubt that US online retailing giant Amazon is aggressively looking to narrow the marginal market share gap with Flipkart. In a further boost to its expansion plans, Amazon leased more than a million square feet of office space in India in 2016, equal to what it leased from 2008 to 2015.
