TCS offers private cloud to enterprises in Canada
Global IT services major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched a private cloud service for enterprises in Canada to push their digital transformation, a company statement said.
TCS’ Enterprise Cloud Platform (ECP) will offer multiple, flexible cloud infrastructure options including information-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, and state-of-the-art hybrid cloud capabilities which enable highly secure orchestration between on-premise and public cloud environments.
The ECP platform takes a software-defined approach to solve customer challenges and offers control over both physical and virtual environments.
With enhanced security based on open standards and policy-based automation, the solution provides greater network fabric visibility, assurance that customer data remains in Canada, and enables enterprises operating in legacy environments to adopt the cloud through easy transformations.
“We are extending our state-of-the-art cloud offerings to customers in Canada and reinforcing the pivotal role we play in their ongoing digital transformation journeys. Our end-to-end cloud services and solutions portfolio, assessment tools, and a robust framework for cloud foundation and migration make TCS a trusted partner of choice,” said Satishchandra Doreswamy, global head of cloud infrastructure at TCS.
“Canadian enterprises are looking for greater agility and flexibility to compete in a Business 4.0™ world. To cater to their needs, TCS has been steadily investing in building an agile-ready workforce and cloud-based solutions and capabilities, here in Canada. Adoption of the TCS Enterprise Cloud Platform will enable rapid delivery of customer service solutions, ensure superior business continuity and agility, enhance user experience, and reduce total cost of ownership,” said Soumen Roy, country head, TCS Canada.
According to the statement, TCS is focused on building domain solutions which align with the evolving needs of companies across sectors, from banking and financial services to utilities and oil and gas, resulting in a new end-to-end cloud services portfolio that helps organisations develop a strong digital spine while remaining compliant with Canadian regulations.
