Bengaluru-headquartered Vogo said in a statement that it has appointed Sharath Parameswaran as vice president-growth and Prasanth Prabhakar as vice president-operations.

Parameswaran will be responsible for driving profitable ridership growth on the platform while Prabhakar will lead operations and customer experience.

Parameswaran was previously in charge of growth and expansion at logistics-technology startup Rivigo. Prabhakar earlier led operations at home rental company Nestaway.

“We look forward to leveraging their deep experience in consumer internet and logistics to drive our rapid scale-up plans for 2019,” said Vogo co-founder Padmanabhan Balakrishnan. The platform currently has a presence in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Vogo was founded in 2016 by Anand Ayyadurai, Padmanabhan Balakrishnan and Sanchit Mittal. In December last year, Vogo raised Rs 63 crore in a fresh round of funding from Kalaari Capital, Stellaris Venture Partners, Matrix Partners and Hero Group founder Pawan Munjal’s family trust.

A little before that, ride-hailing unicorn Ola had committed to investing Rs 720 crore in Vogo.
