Seattle-based network infrastructure management company AppViewX has secured $30 million (Rs 212.4 crore at the current exchange rate) in a Series-A round from Connecticut-based equity firm Brighton Park Capital.

AppViewX, which has operations across the US, UK and India, will invest in talent in India as part of its growth, Anand Purusothaman, founder and chief technology officer, AppViewX, said in a statement. The company has offices in Bengaluru and Coimbatore and employs 300 people.

“Brighton Park Capital’s investment will fuel growth, accelerating AppViewX’s product innovation, further solidifying our position as the most advanced certificate management and network automation platform available,” said Purusothaman.

Mike Gregoire and Zach Gut of Brighton Park Capital will join the board of AppViewX. Larry Biagini, former vice president and global chief technology officer of GE and chief technology evangelist at ZScaler, will also be joining as board advisor with the current round.

AppViewX provides low-code automation platform for network operations (NetOps) and security operations (SecOps) teams to provide services for the rest of the enterprise IT. The platform enables operations teams to translate business requirements into automation workflows to improve agility, enforce compliance, eliminate errors and reduce costs, the statement said.
