Indian mobile data network service provider Reliance Jio has signed a partnership with California-headquartered artificial intelligence (AI) solutions provider Guavus for implementing solutions based on AI-driven analytics.

Guavus will help Jio to provide real-time customer experience analytics, key marketing insights and predictive analytics to automate network troubleshooting. Jio said it would be able to offer better services to customers while addressing crucial service operations through automation.

“Our networks generate 4 to 5 petabytes of data each day. If this data can be properly analyzed in real-time using big data analytics and predictive analytics techniques, we can improve the health of our network through intelligent automation,” said Anish Shah, president of IT, Reliance Jio.

Shah also said Guavus’ solutions would enable Jio to make data-driven decisions through out-of-the-box analytics solutions for marketing and automation.

“They’re not just fishing for us, they’re giving us the ability to fish,” said Kiran Thomas, president, Reliance Industries. “Our teams will be able to take advantage of a self-service platform to build custom analytics applications.”

Anukool Lakhina, Guavus founder and president, said the fast growth, range and affordability of Jio's service offerings would help their customers and India extensively.
