Bengaluru-based information technology services provider Wipro has launched a digital platform for Brazilian financial association, The Brazilian Federation of Banks or FEBRABAN.
FEBRABAN is the representative body of 119 out of the 155 financial institutions in Brazil.
Wipro launched the first phase of the FEBRABAN online platform Noomis on Monday.
Noomis will serve as a discussion platform for finance professionals in Brazil who participate in CIAB FEBRABAN, an information technology trade show for IT services, a statement from Wipro said.
The platform will provide reliable, analytical information through unbiased news reports, blogs, videos and newsletters. The data will provide participants with the information required to be up to date on financial market trends.
During the subsequent phases of the platform, Wipro will create workflows as well as an editorial publisher module for content management on the platform.
"Noomis differentiates FEBRABAN by bringing together the financial industry to collaborate, exchange ideas and catch up on industry news,” said Mukund Seetharaman, vice president and head - Latin America, Wipro.
Wipro has a presence in Brazil for close to 10 years and claims that some of the largest enterprises in the areas of banking, financial services, FMCG and energy are its clients.
