Chennai-based Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has deployed the workforce solution from Massachusetts-headquartered Kronos to boost efficiencies, improve productivity and deliver better patient experience.
The solution enables hospital staff to access information on the device of their choice while offering engaging user experience across phones, tablets and desktops, Kronos said in a statement.
The hospital chain’s employees and managers will have access to self-service, submit requests and manage approvals anytime and anywhere.
The solution has been rolled out across Apollo’s six locations in south India, empowering 3,000 employees with real-time visibility, actionable insights and yielding quality care, the statement added.
It claimed these features will be extended to 15 more locations and will cover about 8,000 employees during the next month.
“Our focus on talent, technology and transformation is aimed at offering better care for our staff, patients, society and the nation, while also making our processes more efficient. An integral part of this mission is ensuring the right employee in the right place at the right time, fully engaged and empowered to manage their work better with timely interventions,” said Hari Prasad Kovelamudi, group president, Apollo Hospitals Group.
“We are delighted to assist Apollo Hospitals – an institution that is touching lives every day – in managing its greatest asset – its people, enabling them to access real-time information anytime, anywhere, in a personalised manner be it a smartphone, PC or even a biometric kiosk. More so, it’s great that they realise employees are key to superior patient care and a healthy bottom line,” said Sumeet Doshi, country manager, India, Kronos.
