GPX India, a provider of true carrier-neutral data centre, will offer private and dedicated access to Oracle Cloud through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect.
This will benefit customers located in GPX's Mumbai data centre to establish a high speed, dedicated connection to Oracle Cloud.
Headquartered in New York, GPX Global Systems offers data centres that allow interconnection between colocation and interconnection providers. The highly reliable and secure data centres help clients looking to colocate their mission-critical business infrastructure without moving equipment and connect to multiple carriers to achieve redundancy.
Under the collaboration, Oracle customers will get reliable network access to their cloud data and applications from Mumbai, which automatically boosts the performance, enhanced control, flexibility, and scalability that provide access to critical business data and functions.
Customers with equipment located elsewhere can also make private connections to Oracle Cloud using FastConnect via leased lines or MPLS links from various telecom service providers.
"The launch of Oracle FastConnect in India at the GPX data centre provides new opportunities for our customers, enabling them to build solutions that take advantage of the economic benefits of Oracle Cloud alongside their existing on-premises infrastructure. Our highly differentiated Tier IV data centre is already a thriving digital ecosystem and the most interconnected Data Center, providing direct access to a wide range of connectivity and cloud options," said Manoj Paul, MD, GPX India.
FastConnect provides dedicated connectivity to Oracle Cloud Infrastructures. It provides a way to create a private connection with higher bandwidth options.
A silver level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), GPX India launched its Indian data centre in Mumbai in 2012 to provide tier 4 colocation services, which provides unique content, carrier and cloud ecosystem.
