Enterprise cloud solutions provider, Nutanix, has opened its new India headquarters in Bengaluru. 

The 2,00,000 square-feet Bengaluru office will host sales, engineering, research and development, support and services functions under one roof, according to a statement.

Nutanix, founded in 2009, has its global headquarters at San Jose, California.

“India is integral to delivering the best solutions and service to our global customers and this facility marks yet another step in our ongoing commitment to the country,” Sankalp Saxena, senior vice president and managing director - operations, India, Nutanix, said.

Nutanix also said the centre will help nurture a strong internship and incubation programme with the support of local colleges.

Nutanix has 10 customer support centres of excellence globally, out of which five are in Asia in the cities of Beijing, Sydney, Tokyo, Pune and Bengaluru.

The company recently appointed former AWS executive Balakrishnan Anantharaman as vice president and managing director of sales for India and SAARC in June 2019.
