Online payment gateway solutions company PayU has named Sudhir Sehgal as its enterprise business head in India and Manas Mishra as chief product officer to strengthen its India region leadership team.
Former HDFC senior vice president, Sehgal will oversee the strategy, development, and distribution of PayU's domestic and international payments for its enterprise merchant portfolio, the Naspers-owned subsidiary said in a statement on Wednesday.
Based in Gurugram, Sehgal will be responsible to grow the business as a full-stack enterprise fintech platform and work towards simplifying the payments for large businesses, the statement added.
Mishra, who has previously worked with etailer Flipkart as payment experience head, will be tasked with overseeing the formulation and execution of PayU India’s product strategy.
Based in Bengaluru, Mishra will be responsible for the next generation of PayU’s products.
PayU is the e-payments arm of South African conglomerate Naspers-owned global consumer internet group and technology firm Prosus.
Earlier this month, Amrish Rau, head of fintech investments and partnerships at PayU India, quit the company. Rau was also PayU India’s CEO.
PayU’s payment gateway solutions to online businesses serves over 350,000 merchants with more than 70 local payment methods, it said in the statement.
