SaaS startup CodeNinja.ai secures seed funding
Bengaluru headquartered CodeNinja.ai, which owns and operates artificial intelligence (AI) and software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based zero code development platform CodeNinja.ai, has raised a seed round of funding led by an angel investor Hari Balasubramaniam.
EaSyndicate, the Early Adapters Syndicate of LetsVenture, also participated in the round.
The company did not disclose the amount of funding but claimed it to be somewhere in between the range of $100,000-$300,000, according to a statement.
The startup plans to deploy the funds for its product development and expand its business. Additionally, the startup plans to build a do it yourself (DIY) curriculum for users to develop applications without the help of developers.
Founded in 2017 by Prashanth Kuppur, Deepak Kalhan, Saurabh Kukreti, and Richpal Gora, CodeNinja.ai is an AI-powered no code platform which can generate application development code in Android, iOS, and web.
The no-code development platform (NCDPs) allows programmers and non-programmers to create application software through graphical user interfaces and configuration instead of traditional computer programming.
"Technology is revolutionising the way we do business with high-tech approaches like artificial engineering, and machine learning (ML). However, application development is still untouched by these advancements and follows the same path for ages with the developer, tester, and DevOps at the core," Prashanth Kuppur, founder and CEO, CodeNinja.ai, said.
CodeNinja.ai offers its solutions to startups with information technology (IT) products and service offerings, system integrators, cloud services and security solution providers
The company also announced that Balasubramanian will join the company's board, the statement added.
LetsVenture, established in 2013 by Shanti Mohan and Sanjay Jha, has invested in 220 startups so far. It receives support from 6,500 investors, including micro funds and family offices, and has assets worth $19 million under management.
