Bengaluru-headquartered online platform for buying and selling dairy and cattle, Animall Technologies, has raised Rs 44.49 crore (around $6 million according to current exchange rates) led by Sequoia Capital India Seed Investment which holds 13.02% stake in the company. 

Other investors in the round include Omnivore and Lets Venture Angel Fund.

High net worth individuals including Nishith Rastogi, CEO of Locus; Asish Mohapatra, CEO of Ofbusiness; author Rukun Kaul among others also chipped in. Returning investors in the round included WEH Ventures, Beenext and Gautam Shewakramani.

The company has issued 53,832 pre-Series A preference shares as part of the round according to regulatory filings.

Founded in December 2019 by Neetu Yadav and Libin V Babu, the company raised Rs 5.65 crore in May this year as part of a seed round led by Beenext Emerging Asia, according to the filings. Other investors in the round included WEH Ventures as well as angel investors Anupam Mittal and Abhishek Kejriwal among others.

According to the article of association filed by the company, Animall provides a platform for farmers to buy and sell their cattle and livestock and claims to have over 2 lakh entries for sale of livestock. The startup also addresses queries on animal health addressed by veterinarians.
