Mumbai-headquartered mid-tier information technology (IT) solution and services provider Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI) on Thursday said it will be the launch partner of cloud-based data warehousing platform, Snowflake for its enterprise-focused data transformation programme, Snowcase. 

The company also said that it was now an elite service partner of San Mateo, California based Snowflake, which was valued at over $30 billion during its IPO in September 2020.

“Snowflake is the preferred partner for modern enterprises because of its unique ability to decouple storage and compute. Our alliance with Snowflake has grown stronger and deeper over time, with several joint go-to-market initiatives and implementations,” Sanjay Jalona, CEO and managing director at LTI said in a statement.

  As part of its partnership with Snowcase, LTI will work on data driven manufacturing transformation targeted at the manufacturing sector. The partnership will use LTI’s Mosaic Platform which offers data engineering, advanced analytics, knowledge-led automation, IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity on a converged platform. According to LTI, the accelerated migration and platform simplification of existing data platform to Snowflake data cloud was done leveraging LTI Canvas PolarSled, LTI Mosaic and Qlik.

In December, LTI had also partnered with Abu Dhabi based Injazat Data Systems to accelerate digital transformation in the Middle East. LTI had announced that it won 11 deals for the quarter ending September 30, 2020, driven by acceleration of digital transformation journey of companies.
