Limoges, France-headquartered digital infrastructure major Legrand has launched its data centre solutions, bringing a portfolio of global brands including Legrand, Numeric, Raritan and Server Technology under one specialist team.  

Called the Legrand Data Centre Solutions (LCDS), the service offers one-stop shop for modular, scalable, cost-effective and customisable solutions for data centres across sizes ranging from hyperscale to micro data centres. 

"Data centres in India is growing at a very fast pace. We are witnessing a growth of about 8.5%. Companies across sectors are accelerating their digital adoption. With our global presence, experience, offering and current portfolio of brands in India, we felt it is time to demonstrate our focus and support the data centre market in India and make it future-ready," Tony Berland, MD and CEO, said in a statement.

LDCS offers a wide range of server and network racks, high-performance cooling solutions for optimum cooling in all conditions and a full range of 3-phase UPS solution. According to the company, the solution provides security through high-performance PDUs (power distribution unit) and switches for any installation configuration, detection, control, and protection. 

"With the government sharing the cause for data centre infrastructure development, there is more and more reason to believe that Legrand Data Centre Solutions will have a compelling growth story unfolding for itself," Sanjay Motwani, business head, LDCS added. 

LCDS is looking to address a market size of Rs 3,000 crore. Globally, LCDS’ clients include prominent technology companies such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Colt and Equinox for data centre solutions.
