Ignitho expands India presence, appoints new India delivery head

New York headquartered product engineering company Ignitho Technologies on Wednesday announced the launch of its second India office and a new senior appointment.  

The firm, which currently operates an innovation lab and development centre in Kochi, will set up an office in Chennai, a statement said.  

Additionally, it has appointed AM Brahma, former engagement manager for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) at Cognizant, as the India delivery head. He has also worked with IT services major Tech Mahindra in the past.

“Our unique model of entrepreneurship provides like-minded professionals a platform to fuel their startup dreams, starting the journey by building niche digital products for enterprises under Ignitho and later becoming co-owners in a product startup company under Nuivio Ventures,” Scott Nugent, chief commercial officer at Ignitho Technologies, said.  

“As we get ready to expand our team in Chennai, we continue to be on the lookout for such professionals to join our team and fuel their entrepreneurial dreams,” he added, referring to Brahma’s appointment.

Ignitho offers enterprises rapid application development and scalable cloud implementation services. It also provides application management, mobile app development and technology consulting services to digital healthcare, financial services, media and entertainment as well as business services and public sector companies.  

Ignitho counts the National Spine and Pain Centre, London Gatwick Airport and the Sainsbury’s Group as its clients.
