Bengaluru based IT consulting services company Birlasoft has received an advanced consulting partner status from the Amazon Web Services Partner Network (APN).

Birlasoft, which is part of the 2.4 billion C.K. Birla Group, said the status will strengthen its cloud portfolio and help offer enhanced solutions to its client’s digital transformation journeys.

“Our partnership with AWS will enable us to accelerate the value delivery to our customers who are setting their sights on cloud transformation initiatives to make their organizations resilient, agile, and sustainable in the long term,” Ajit Singh Chawla, SVP and global head – Digital Business Unit, Birlasoft, said in a statement.

The advanced status will help Birlasoft, which has about 10,000 employees, with end-to-end transformation services for its clients, specifically in the areas of enterprise resource planning, data analytics, artificial intelligence, application modernization and large data centre migrations.

The company also plans to make focused investments in developing platforms and solutions for industries with a higher need for digitization.

"Cloud-enabled digital transformation is a strategic priority for organizations in India. Through Birlasoft, our aim is to equip these organizations with the tools to make the transition to the cloud confidently,” Jasjeet Singh, head partner and alliances, Amazon Internet Services India (AISPL), said.

Early last month, BirlaSoft partnered with automation and intelligence platform Regulativ.ai to co-develop a new artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) based cyber-regulatory reporting platform.

The co-developed platform is aimed to help regulated enterprises with their cyber regulatory compliance risks and provide them with insights and reports to mitigate risks and be compliant.

The focus of the partnership is on tapping into the banking, financial services, and insurance segments.
