Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has partnered with Charzer to set up 20,000 electric vehicle charging stations across India over the next couple of years.
Besides, OSM will also offer Charzer’s mobile app and website for the drivers so to locate the nearest charging stations and book the slots.
The announcement comes close on the heels of Chartered Bike’s announcement of plans to deploy over 2,000 electric bikes and 200 charging stations in Mumbai over the next 3 to 6 months.
“We are targeting launch of over 30,000 electric cargo three- wheelers in the next two years. As a first step towards this, we have joined hands with Charzer to develop an extensive network of charging stations across India,” said Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman, OSM.
The Bengaluru-based EV charging infrastructure startup will be installing points across geographies where OSM's clients will operate to ease e-vehicle adoption for them.
Dheeraj Reddy, COO and Co-Founder, Charzer, said, “With Charzer, fleet owners can save up to 46% of their expenses and scale their fleet 10 times faster. Drivers can save up to 55 hours of redundant travel per month and earn 40% more income due to increased fleet uptime.”
