NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure rebranded as Protean eGov Technologies

NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure, an IT company that deals with various state governments to design, manage and implement e-governance projects, has rebranded itself as Protean eGov Technologies.   

The company has changed its marketing tagline to “Change is growth” and said that its reinforced values are agility, adaptability and assurance, along with a new logo.  

“In line with the rapid adoption of digitalisation and evolution of new business models, we have identified and adopted new service paradigms,” said Suresh Sethi, MD and CEO, Protean eGov.

NSDL e-governance infrastructure is a separate company from NSDL and deals with services related to issuance of PAN cards and also works as a central record-keeping agency for the National Pension Scheme.     

The company has been responsible for modernising the direct tax infrastructure, enrolling citizens into financial services through Aadhar based identity authentication and e-sign services.
