SAP Concur, an American software-as-a-services (SaaS) company, providing travel and expense management services to businesses, has appointed Kumar Gaurav Gupta as vice president and country manager for the Indian subcontinent.  

With more than a decade of experience with SAP in various roles, Kumar will now focus on collaborating with SAP Concur’s customer base to drive their digital transformation journeys across expense, travel, and invoicing. 

Kumar has over two decades of experience in the industry. Prior to SAP, Kumar was a business consultant advising customers on strategic priorities and has been an entrepreneur himself in the field of education.

 Kumar has done his graduation from Delhi College of Engineering and postgraduate degree from Indian Institute of Management, Indore. 

In December 2014, German IT company SAP completed $8.3 billion acquisition of Bellevue-based travel and entertainment expense management software company,  Concur Technologies. Today, SAP Concur serves more than 52,000 customers in over 150 countries, including over 75% of Fortune 100 and 500 companies, and sees a huge growth potential in the India market. 

The company already has a research and development team in India and is investing to expand this team in Bangalore. It also has its sales and marketing offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
