American communications technology company Zoom Video Communications has announced the availability of Zoom Events, an “all-in-one platform” in India, starting today. 

Zoom Events that combines Zoom Webinars, Zoom Meetings and Team Chat, will enable businesses across industries to seamlessly host virtual and hybrid experiences including company events like all-hands and sales summits and external events like user conferences. Mumbai-based ZVC India, the Indian entity of Zoom, said that the new solution will offer an immersive and engaging virtual experience to business meetings, events and other professional engagement. 

Since launching in 2021 in the US, Europe and other select markets, the company said that more than 7,000 customers have used Zoom Events, and the platform has averaged more than 150 events daily. Zoom also hosted Zoomtopia 2021 on Zoom Events, delivering the latest and greatest in the world of communications to more than 30,000 virtual attendees worldwide, it said.

Speaking on some of the benefits of using Zoom Events, the company further said that the new solution not only increases collaboration and learning through meetings and webinar sessions, much effectively than similar ones available in the market but also simplifies post-event content management and on-demand viewing and even delivers comprehensive analytics and reporting to track attendee engagement.

Roopam Jain, Vice President of Research, Information and Communications Technologies at Frost & Sullivan said that as enterprises in India embrace virtual and hybrid events as a core part of their communications and collaborations strategy, they can look to solutions like Zoom Events to create one-of-a-kind, interactive and immersive virtual experiences.  

Revenue in the Collaboration Software segment is projected to reach $157.30 million in 2022, said research firm Statista. The revenue is expected to show an annual growth rate (CAGR 2022-2027) of 11.67%, resulting in a market volume of $273.10 million by 2027, it said.
