Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Sarabjit Anand as the chief technology and operations officer (CTOO) for India and South Asia. In his previous role, he was the chief information officer at the bank for the Singapore and Asean markets.

He has held different technology roles and was a key part in launching Trust — a digital bank in Singapore. Trust is backed by a partnership between Standard Chartered and grocery retailer FairPrice Group.
Along with the new CTOO, Standard Chartered Bank also appointed SV Shivshanker as the Head, Human Resources, for India and South Asia.
