U.S-based cybersecurity company Trellix on Wednesday announced the appointment of cybersecurity leader John Morgan as the general manager of its extended detection and response (XDR) platform.

XDR is an approach to threat detection and response that provides holistic protection against cyberattacks, unauthorized access and misuse. At Trellix, Morgan teams up with Trellix veteran Gareth Maclachlan, Network and Collaboration Security General Manager to strengthen the XDR portfolio.
