Technology consulting company LTIMindtree has launched a generative artificial intelligence platform Canvas.ai. The platform will help companies in business innovation and improving engineering productivity while factoring in ethics, sustainability, and security. Using Canvas.ai will reduce up to 50% the time and effort required for app modernisation and cloud migration programs, the company said in a statement.

With Canvas.ai, customers will gain access to proprietary accelerations, domain specific solutions, leading large language models, and talent pool. “This will help clients harness the power of Generative AI and build out solutions for data monetisation, productivity co-pilots, and engineering frameworks. Furthermore, the platform-centric design of Canvas.ai makes it adept at facilitating standardisation, while accommodating the upgrades to generative AI technology, promoting enterprise-wide efficiency and reducing infrastructure and operating costs in the long term as clients digitise their core businesses.”

The platform is available through the company’s Generative AI Studios in places like Dallas, Minneapolis, London, Paris, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

A Goldman Sachs report in March said that generative AI tools could drive 7% (almost $7 trillion) increase in the global GDP, and improve productivity growth by 1.5 percentage points in a 10-year period.

Like LTIMindtree, several companies around the world have introduced heavy investment in generative AI technology. Last week, Salesforce venture arm announced that it is doubling generative AI investment to $500 million. Further, HCLTech has launched generative AI centres of excellence along with Google Cloud and Microsoft.

There also seems to be growing acceptance and trust among consumers regarding the content generated by such tools. A Capgemini study this week found that on average, 73% of users said that they trust content written by ChatGPT and other generative AI tools. This high trust is prevalent across age groups, led by GenX-ers (74%).
