Tata Consultancy Services has launched its Generative AI Enterprise Adoption offering on Microsoft Cloud. Further, under the partnership between the two companies, the TCS Microsoft Business Unit (MBU) will train and certify 25,000 associates on Azure OpenAI. The TCS MBU unit was launched in 2019 by TCS, offering a range of services and solutions around Microsoft technologies. This business unit already has 50,000 AI-trained associates.

The Generative AI Enterprise Adoption offering combines TCS’ contextual knowledge and expertise in Azure OpenAI to enhance the customer experience for its clients, launch new business models, grow revenue, and enhance productivity. With this offering, TCS and client teams will joint develop proof of concept on Azure OpenAI, create solution roadmap, train models with guardrails, and deploy solutions.

“TCS’ Generative AI Enterprise Adoption on Azure Offering provides customers with the information and resources they need to harness the power of generative AI to accelerate innovation and business growth,” said Kelly Rogan, CVP, Global System Integrators and Advisory Partners, Microsoft.

TCS will also roll out services around GitHub Copilot to accelerate software development and boost programmer productivity through advisory and foundational set-up.

Additionally, TCS is building its own suite of generative AI offerings built using Azure OpenAI services. Examples of such tools include a retail strategic intelligence platform called TCS Optumera, data and analytics solution TCS Daezmo, and data assessment platform TCS Datom.

In May, the IT services firm announced the launch of TCS Generative AI, a suite of applications in partnership with Google. Under this collaboration, TCS is leveraging Google’s generative AI offerings like Vertex and Model Garden alongside its own tools for offering the service. At that time, TCS announced that it would be offering 40,000 Google Cloud Generative AI certifications to its employees in the span of one year.
