Porter appoints Amit Singh as its new Director of Technology

Porter, a tech-enabled logistics company, has announced the appointment of Amit Singh as its new Director of Technology. 

In this new position, Singh will lead the way in revolutionizing the company's technological landscape. This will involve integrating cutting-edge advancements, including generative AI, SD WAN, automation, containerization, artificial intelligence, IoT, edge computing, and ambient computing. 

Before joining Porter, Singh spent 2.5 years at Bharti AXA Life, where he held the position of Deputy Vice President and Head of Infrastructure and Security. His expertise in industry-recognized transformations like SD-WAN and cloud technologies solidifies his reputation as a visionary in the tech sphere. 

Singh brings a wealth of experience from various organizations to his new role. His career showcases a proven track record of driving technological progress and implementing top-notch solutions to enhance business growth and operational efficiency. Singh's journey in the tech realm is characterized by his unwavering pursuit of innovation and transformation. His adaptability across diverse environments is evident through his career spanning influential entities like Bajaj Finserv, Vodafone, and IBM India. 

Complementing his education with a certificate course from IIT Kharagpur and a diploma in business management from ICFAI University, Singh's educational background is rooted in technology. He further demonstrates his commitment to staying ahead of industry trends with notable certifications such as AWS Professional Architect and Six Sigma Green Belt. 

Recently, the company made changes to its top management. Co-founder Uttam Digga is now the CEO, while Pranav Goel has become the Executive Vice-Chairman. Shruti Ranjan Satpathy, the Chief Product and Technology Officer, will also be handling more responsibilities.
