Mankind Pharma appoints Tarun Kapoor as Vice President of Digital Transformation

Mankind Pharma, a pharmaceutical company, has appointed Tarun Kapoor as its new Vice President of Digital Transformation. Before this, he was Head of Technical Delivery at BT Group. He was earlier associated with VFS Global Services, CRISIL, Infoton Systems and Services, and Indigo Systems & Technologies.

Kapoor announced his appointment through a LinkedIn post. He mentioned his intention to lead the development of a digital strategy, focusing on improving customer experiences, streamlining supply chain operations, and using data analytics for better decision-making.   

Kapoor’s responsibilities in his new position will include developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy for the company. This strategy will encompass various aspects, such as improving customer experiences, optimising supply chain operations, and utilising data analytics for informed decision-making.   
   
Kapoor brings a rich experience in digital transformation, with a background in leadership roles at notable companies. Before his current role, Kapoor led the Technical Delivery team at BT Group, a UK-based telecommunications company. Reflecting on his time at BT Group, Kapoor mentioned, “Though a short stint at British Telecom it was an enriching journey where I gathered a lot of learnings that shall be part of my personal and professional lives.”   

Kapoor joined BT Group in November 2022 and was part of the team for less than a year. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior General Manager of IT at VFS Global Services, a company specialising in outsourcing and technology services. During his tenure there, Kapoor played a crucial role in leading significant global business transformation initiatives, accumulating more than a decade of experience with the company.
