Madurai-based Aparajitha Corporate Services Private Limited, a company that offers tech-driven compliance solutions, on Thursday, announced the appointment of Venu Murthy as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). 

Murthy, who has previously held pivotal roles in multinational corporations such as ThoughtWorks, Unisys, IBM, and Infosys, will guide Aparajitha's transition from a services-oriented to a product-centric model, particularly in the realm of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions, according to a statement from the company.

Aparajitha provides tech-driven labour, industrial, and financial compliance solutions. Its domain-specific services assist businesses with obtaining the necessary licences, registrations, and compliance management across various domains. Some of Aparajitha's clients include Amazon, Google, Oracle, HSBC, HDFC Life, Airtel, Boeing, JP Morgan, Samsung, Shell, and Sony.

Murthy has successfully led the development of mission-critical applications across diverse industries, revolutionising sectors such as healthcare with HIPAA-compliant products and designing resilient systems for international airports. Additionally, he has a proven track record of migrating legacy systems to the cloud, unlocking scalability, agility, and cost-effectiveness for organizations. "My passion for technology, combined with my extensive experience, positions me as a trusted advisor and influential leader in the digital landscape," Murthy said in his LinkedIn profile. 

A B.E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Murthy has also authored several research papers and is a member of the Forbes Technology Council. 

Murthy stated that he looks forward to leveraging his experience to drive innovation and propel the company to new heights in the ever-evolving technology landscape.

In October of last year, the company acquired a 76% equity stake in Simpliance Technologies, a subsidiary of Quess Corp. With the acquisition, Aparajitha consolidated all of their tech products under the brand name 'Simpliance', rebranding 'Compfie' as 'Simpliance'. In June 2022, the company acquired the business assets of Comply India Tech Services Private Limited.
