Wipro to accelerate RSA’s migration to cloud

IT services company Wipro has entered an agreement with general insurance company RSA to accelerate the latter’s migration to the cloud and build a secure and scalable IT infrastructure. This three-year engagement builds on the existing relationship between the two firms which began in 2016.

Wipro will help RSA modernise its infrastructure with cloud technology, while also supporting the delivery of a range of operational services to enable a connected business environment and support RSA’s growth objectives. It expected to optimise RSA’s service delivery and enhance customer and employee experience through automation.

Through cloud technology and industry-leading cybersecurity frameworks, we will further strengthen and scale RSA’s business. Notably, on Monday, Wipro announced that it has partnered with Marelli Electronic Systems, a mobility technology supplier to the automotive sector, to quickly introduce connected vehicle services to the market. The company aim to develop an innovative solution called the 'cabin digital twin,' which empowers original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to swiftly bring connected vehicle services to market, the company said in a statement.

In 2020, Wipro bagged a multi-year global agreement from Marelli for automotive engineering services. With operational headquarters in Saitama, Japan and Corbetta, Italy, Marelli has a significant presence in India: with this new opening, now the company's Indian footprint includes 14 production sites and 2 R&D centres in 7 cities.
