Angel One Limited, formerly known as Angel Broking Limited — an Indian stockbroker firm, on Monday, announced the appointment of Anuprita Daga as its Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
 
The appointment underscores Angel One’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security amid the ever-evolving landscape of financial technology, the company said in a statement.
 
Having previously served as the CISO at Yes Bank, Daga brings 25 years of unparalleled expertise in leading security transformation, developing and executing security strategies, overseeing data privacy, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and global standards in the banking and finance sector.
 
In her new capacity, Daga will elevate the information security, cyber security, and data privacy framework at Angel One. Her primary focus will be on advancing, implementing, and enforcing stringent security policies to protect sensitive customer information and confidential data throughout the organisation.

She has earned widespread acclaim in the industry for her remarkable achievements. She was honored as one of The Global Top 100 Chief Information Security Officers by a UK-based forum. In addition to this international recognition, she has been acknowledged as a Top CSO 50 India and one of the Top 10 Women Tech Leaders by various forums.
 
She has also played an active role in advancing the industry’s progress, serving as an esteemed member of the jury for prestigious awards such as CNBC, CISO MAG Awards, and the Women in Cyber Security (WiCSE) forum from the USA, among others. Her dedication extends to serving as a judge and mentor for the start-up evaluation program initiative led by the Data Security Council of India (NASSCOM) and the Karnataka State Council.
