HCLTech and SAP team up to boost gen AI adoption for enterprises

HCLTech, a global IT firm, has announced a collaboration with the German software company, SAP SE, to drive innovation and expedite the integration of generative AI. 

In this collaboration, HCLTech will work alongside SAP to create solutions that enhance business outcomes and facilitate rapid business transformation. The company aims to enhance employee productivity, streamline operations, expedite application development, and optimize business processes. 

As part of the initiative, HCLTech is set to establish a dedicated gen AI Center of Excellence (gen AI CoE). The focus of the gen AI CoE will be on developing industry-specific solutions that leverage the transformative potential of generative AI and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). These solutions will enable clients to quickly adopt and expand their capabilities using various tools provided in SAP BTP, including low-code and no-code capabilities.  

Additionally, these solutions will encompass essential enterprise technology functionalities, such as security, forward compatibility (simplifying upgrades), and seamless integration with SAP BTP.

Last year in August HCLTech also announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of generative AI. As part of this collaboration, HCLTech plans to utilize Amazon CodeWhisperer with its extensive team of engineers, cloud practitioners, and developers to build secure applications and responsibly leverage AI for internal and client projects.
