Kyndryl, Veeam to deliver comprehensive cyber resiliency

Technology infrastructure services provider Kyndryl and Veeam Software, a data replication and protection software firm, have joined hands to provide comprehensive cyber resiliency services to customers. In this partnership, Kyndryl becomes a Veeam Accredited Service Partner (VASP), combining Kyndryl's managed security services and infrastructure management expertise with Veeam's data replication and protection software. 

The collaboration will offer Kyndryl customers with simplified and holistic data protection and ransomware recovery, cost optimisation, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and seamless data mobility across various environments, including cloud-native and Kubernetes. Kyndryl will integrate professional services and technical implementation with Veeam solutions, providing customers with options for comprehensive cyber resilience, the company said. 

The collaboration will also focus on delivering a seamless transition for customers to modern, security-rich, and compliance-ready cloud-based infrastructure. It provides scalable and customisable options for hybrid and multi-cloud backup and recovery, offering a modern approach to data protection across enterprises. 

Automation is integrated into the solutions to enhance operational efficiencies, allowing customers the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and industry standards. This collaborative effort aims to strengthen stakeholder confidence by offering strategies to effectively recover from adverse conditions, such as cyber incidents, human error, and hardware failures.

In a related development, Kyndryl expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud on February 8 to develop responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) solutions. This collaboration leverages Google Cloud's advanced Large Language Model (LLM), Gemini, combined with Kyndryl's expertise and managed services, aiming to accelerate customer adoption of AI solutions.
