Dell announces automation solution for network cloud infrastructure management

Dell, on Wednesday, announced the launch of Dell Telecom Infrastructure Automation Suite to automate the orchestration and lifecycle management of multi-vendor, network cloud infrastructure at scale. The software suite is based on open standards and APIs, offering users the flexibility to deploy and manage their choice of infrastructure across distributed, multi-vendor environments.

As per Dell, the Automation Suite offers advantages such as time saved on configuration and provisioning; infrastructure discovery and automation; comprehensive telemetry’ and predictive and proactive support. It will be globally available in April 2024.

In addition, Dell also announced that its Telecom Infrastructure Block now has support for 5G core workloads at the edge and a Dell certification program for industry partners to speed validation of network technologies. While the Dell Technologies Certification on Infrastructure Blocks is available globally beginning today, Dell Telecom Infrastructure Blocks for Red Hat enhancements will be available in May 2024.

Dell said in a statement that these telecom solutions reduce risk, so communications service providers (CSPs) can ease the deployment, automate the operation and simplify the support and lifecycle management of disaggregated network cloud infrastructure.
