Allcargo Gati Limited, a supply chain solutions provider, has named Sanjay Khiyani as its Deputy Chief Information Officer (Deputy CIO) in a strategic move aimed at optimising the company's technology infrastructure and administration. 

In his new role, Khiyani will play a crucial part in budgeting, resource development, and allocation, as well as policy formation. His responsibilities extend to overseeing software development, delivery, and deployment, utilising digital solutions to streamline operations and improve the overall customer experience. He will directly report to GS Ravi Kumar, Chief Information Officer, Allcargo Gati Limited.  

Khiyani brings over 25 years of experience from diverse sectors, including information technology and the steel industry. His extensive career includes a two-decade stint at IBM, where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic projects and program life cycle management, with a focus on account management, delivery management, and people management.

Khiyani, holding a bachelor's degree in metallurgy from the University of Madras, complemented his education with postgraduate studies in computer applications at IMT Ghaziabad and software enterprise management at IIM Bangalore. He is also a certified data scientist.
