Zebra teams up with Google, Android, and Qualcomm to launch Gen AI solutions for enterprises

Zebra Technologies, a digital solution provider, has teamed up with Google Cloud, Android, and Qualcomm to introduce generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI)-powered solutions for enterprises aiming to revolutionise customer experiences and enhance employee productivity. 

The collaboration seeks to ease the workload of frontline workers, enabling quicker decision-making and smoother operations. With labour challenges and the need for multi-skilled employees on the rise, this innovation comes at a crucial time, the company said. 

Frontline staff, from back-office workers to store associates, will benefit from a user-friendly chat experience on handheld devices. This tool provides instant access to information, streamlining tasks such as store operations and customer inquiries. Gen AI, fueled by domain-specific knowledge, processes documents like standard operating procedures and product manuals.

The integration of Zebra devices with Android and Qualcomm processors equipped with on-device AI capabilities promises to bring these advancements to various sectors, including retail, healthcare, and transportation.
