HCL Technologies (HCLTech) on Monday launched its Enterprise AI Foundry, a new initiative designed to streamline and scale the adoption of enterprise AI across business value chains.

In an official statement, HCLTech described the Enterprise AI Foundry as an integrated suite of assets that combines data engineering and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with cognitive infrastructure. This suite is tailored to accelerate the transformation driven by generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) across various business processes.

“HCLTech announced the launch of HCLTech Enterprise AI Foundry to simplify and scale enterprise AI journeys,” the company said. The Foundry is optimised for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and is also adaptable for on-premises infrastructure.

The Enterprise AI Foundry aims to eliminate the complexities associated with industrial-scale AI foundation models, data silos, and the overwhelming array of tools and frameworks. This initiative empowers IT leaders to seamlessly integrate IT and data assets, fostering the development of next-generation AI-powered applications with greater ease.

Following the launch of HCLTech AI Force, the Enterprise AI Foundry is positioned to further accelerate AI-led business process transformation and strategies. It is designed to simplify foundational AI infrastructure, enable the integration of enterprise data with AI, streamline the creation of AI-powered applications, and ensure trust, safety, and reliability, thereby promoting confident adoption.

The company reported a net profit of ₹3,986 crore for the fourth quarter that ended on March 31, 2024. This is slightly higher than the ₹3,983 crore reported a year ago. The company’s revenue during January-March 2024 stood at ₹28,499 crore, which is 7.11% higher than the ₹26,606 crore reported in the year-ago period.
