Airtel Business taps Cisco to bring cloud-based network solution for enterprises
Aitel Business, the enterprise arm of Bharti Airtel, has partnered with networking and security company Cisco to introduce Airtel Software-Defined (SD) Branch, a cloud-based network solution aimed at simplifying enterprise networking. Powered by Cisco's Meraki platform, this solution offers seamless management of networks across LAN, WAN, security, and connectivity for multiple branch locations, streamlining operations for businesses.
Airtel SD-Branch is designed to enhance application performance, improve network security, and provide greater flexibility and control over the entire network infrastructure. “This service is designed to focus on core business outcomes rather than IT complexities,” said Sharat Sinha, CEO of Airtel Business. “It provides customers with a scalable, simplified network solution, ensuring secure and efficient access to business applications.”
Daisy Chittilapilly, President of Cisco India & SAARC, said, “This collaboration empowers enterprises with a unified, agile, and secure platform, ensuring seamless operations across locations."
Airtel SD-Branch is tailored to meet the diverse networking needs of industries such as retail, banking, education, and healthcare. With Airtel’s connectivity solutions and Cisco’s networking expertise, this solution aims to transform network management, making it more efficient and robust for businesses across India.
